Hey! I'm Tara,

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me.

I am a 30-year-old Long Island based (and raised) hairstylist. For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for all things hair as a way to authentically enhance your best self. My older sister, also a hairstylist, was a big inspiration and role model for me as I developed my craft over the past thirteen years and built my passion into a thriving career. (Our great Grandpa was also a hairstylist and barber for Radio City in the 20’s, so we always joke and say it’s part of our DNA!) The journey from being my sister’s “practice model” growing up, to working collaboratively with her by my side, to establishing my own business has been irreplaceable and rewarding. 

After growing and building on my business for four years, it was time to expand. I was able to establish a loyal client following out of my salon suite in East Meadow for eight years. Recently, I relocated my salon suite to Wantagh. I specialize in lived-in highlights, hair color, and a variety of women’s cuts, but my greatest strength is my focus on each individual customers experience. I work to ensure your desired look is thoughtfully tailored to keep you looking and feeling confident and refreshed. I am laid back and “chill” in personality, but when it comes to producing the best work- I leave no stone unturned to your expectations. 

My reach has also naturally expanded beyond the salon and into the bridal world to design boho and glam-bridal hair styling. My team and I are knowledgeable in all hair types and textures, and are experienced in working with any size group for weddings, special events, or any other occasion. I pride myself on my ability to be creative, versatile, prompt and efficient for brides about to say, “I do.” I have earned the trust of my clientele by ensuring a smooth and easy start to their big day, while also attending to every detail. I am confident that we can produce the exact look you have in mind, and make you feel the most beautiful you’ve ever felt.

When I’m not creating beautiful hair, you can find me with one of my amazing and unconditionally supportive family members; especially my godson, the light of my life. I also love to cozy up with my pup JJ, a yellow lab, or to try out the latest food and drink spots with my closest friends (where my foodies and marg drinkers at?!). 

So much TLC has gone into making Mane Beauty the flourishing business I am so proud to say I own today.  I promise to always give 100% of my best efforts to each of you. If you trust me, I will bring your hair dreams to life!
