Hi, I’m Tara — owner of Mane Beauty and a Long Island hairstylist of fourteen years. For as long as I can remember, hair has been the way I connect with people. I grew up watching my older sister work her magic behind the chair — she was my first inspiration, my role model, and the one who unknowingly set me on the path I’ve been walking ever since.

Our great-grandfather styled and cut hair at Radio City in the 1920s, so we always joke that it’s in our blood. Maybe that’s why doing hair has always felt more like home than work.

Over the years, I’ve built Mane Beauty from the ground up — from being my sister’s “practice model,” to renting my first salon suite, to creating a loyal, loving community of clients who trust me with their most special moments.

What I love most is helping people feel like the most confident version of themselves. Whether you’re sitting in my chair for lived-in color, a fresh cut, or your wedding morning, my goal is always the same: to create timeless, effortless beauty that still feels like you. My clients have been the heart of every chapter.
